Zcash launched genesis block, another anon currency canditate

So on 28th Oct https://z.cash/launched it's genesis block so it's now officially behind the open beta state and although they mention some security issues like side-channel vulnerability the core P2P-ZKP model is up now. Since I am a mathematician and the math behind it is several times more beautiful (and more secure) than in bitcoin, I'm really curious whether it can actually replace BTC in the black market, I will surely move and put my trust into them. Let me know your opinions, do/would you trust it or stay with BTC?
