The combined company Wildberries and Russ, together with Sberbank, are launching a system to protect marketplace customers from fraud, it will allow you to identify purchases with stolen bank cards in real time and instantly block fraudulent transactions. "The RBB company (a joint company of Wildberries and Russ) and Sberbank announce the launch of a high-tech system to protect marketplace customers from fraud. The service will allow you to identify purchases with stolen bank cards on the marketplace in real time and instantly block fraudulent transactions on the bank's side," the message says.
According to preliminary estimates by Wildberries and Russ, this approach will save more than 60 million rubles for users who have become victims of fraudsters during the year.
As noted in the company, with the help of automated data exchange and technologies based on artificial intelligence, it became possible to identify fraud already at the stage of placing an order. In the first two weeks of testing, the system has already helped save several million rubles of customers.
The Russian Military Bank and Sberbank plan to continue cooperation to strengthen the security of customers of the platform and online shopping services, the Russian Military Bank added.
