Why is is diamond considered low elo to so many players?

I understand someone being “not as good as you” but like… nba stars don’t look at their teammates as bums people in the NBA don’t look at college players stars like bums, college stars don’t look at their teammates like bums. Gold+ is like top 30% in your country. That’s a pretty massive number no? I understand the skill gap between gold and plat is crazy and it just gets more and more insane from there but as a gold player when I hear a masters player shit talking a Diamond player I like lose all confidence in my ranked grind https://100001.onl/ https://1921681254.mx/ ????
