Out of all the stable coins, I believe XMR is the best investment for your money, although ETH is a good option as well.
Reason #1: XMR's updates have made it virtually free to send transactions, fast and near completely anonymous. It's far better then it was in 2017, where it had reached several times it's current marketcap.
Reason #2: It's being adopted, by both clear and deepweb services. Essentially all of the popular deepweb marketplaces in the last few months are using XMR and strongly discouraging any BTC transactions. The current volume traded daily is higher then it was at it's peak in 2017.
Reason #3: The developers are actively making the crypto more secure and anonymous, with adoption at an all time high and with constant updates to any found security flaws, we're going to see the price go up. I think it's relatively low at it's price point.
Besides XMR, I do believe ETH 2.0 will increase short-term within the next month, so to any crypto investors I'd recommend buying ETH and then later sell for XMR. Personally, I have 50/50 of my money in ETH and XMR and I'm comfortable.
