Where to find good proxies

I am kinda new to some of this stuff especially proxies. I use vpn to just surf but I wanna do more and asked a few people with experience in what I wanna do and they said I need to find good proxies and maybe an otp bot. I looked on the deep web and found a few and also looked on tor and found a few but it don’t know what is good or what is bad and how to know if I am safe.
