What was your favorite movie theater experience?

Whether it had to do with the crowd, who you were with, the film itself, the theater, or another reason, I’m curious to hear about people's favorite moviegoing experience/memory and why it became that for you? It could be a quiet solo trip to the movies. My mind goes back to some of the midnight showings I’ve been to with friends such as The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey or the later Harry Potter films.
