I'm attempting to schedule the installation of internet in advance of the closing on a new home. To my knowledge, the house appears to be devoid of any inside wiring. It's unlikely that any of the prior owner's setup was preserved because the builder rebuilt everything else while preserving the basement untouched. Additionally, I haven't noticed any Ethernet, coaxial, or other pertinent outlets.
I used to live in apartments with pre-wired internet, so all I had to do was plug in the modem and router. I've never done a complete installation before.
I want to know what to anticipate. During the installation, what will the professional do? What precisely will they install, and where will they set everything up?
