Hey, so recently I was using Metamask and I was accepting payment for an exchange i was doing with my friend. I clicked on copy address, and to my knowledge, I assumed I had copied the right address. Turns out, the address copied was completely wrong. Unfortunately, I came to realize this after I had sent the address to the person. So the money was sent to the address which wasn't mine. After doing some research it turns out that it was most likely a malware that was on my computer that whenever I would copy my address it would change it to someone else's(I imagine the person who gave me the malware's) address. Just wanted to put this out here as a warning to all Metamask users. I thought about how I could've avoided this from happening, and the only way I see is either, of course, be more cautious of the things I download, or if someone else would've made this apparent in a place where I was active(perhaps here, lol). So yeah, hopefully I can save at least one person from having this happen to them.
P.S. I've also heard of this happening when transferring crypto on meta mask from one account to another, so be cautious of that too.
