[Tips] Increasing FPS in LoL.

Always getting low/inconsistent FPS during games? Here are some tips which I have gathered and used on my PC and now I'm getting 100+ FPS from <60 FPS.

• Set Priority: Whenever you play a game, Alt+Tab and open Task Manager. League of Legends.exe will appear so open the "Processes" tab and look for your game and set the priority to high (NOT REALTIME).
• With the above setting, try your best to close all background programs to prevent any unnecessary programs from running during game play. Generally you would want less then 55 Processes running at any time.
• Windows 7/8 you should disable Windows Aero. Press Win + Pause, press Advanced system settings in the upper left corner. Another window will open switch to the Advanced tab, click Settings in the Performance section. In the tab Visual Effects you should tick the "Adjust for best performance" option. This will make your PC look like shit, but there will be noticeable FPS increase.
• In-Game set the Frame Rate cap to "Benchmark" now DISABLE shadows and uncheck "HUD Animations" and disable Vertical Sync. Both Shadows and HUD Animations don't add much to the quality of the game yet they take quite a lot of performance.
• Find your Game.cfg file, find these settings and set it to mine.
  

  • Inking=0
  • PerPixelPointLighting=0
  • EnableGrassSwaying=0
  • Color =16

• After you have changed everything inside the game go out to your LoL folder>Config and open game.cfg with your notepad. And simply add at end after [Sound] parameters this new parameters:
  

  • [UnitRenderStyle]
  • Inking=0
  • AdvancedReflection=0
  • PerPixelPointLighting=0
