Give it a few more years, and I'm confident our grandchildren (grandnieces and grandnephews for some of us) will look back to "bunny hopping" as that archaic thing to do when people still played on keyboards --- because, you know, VR might become successful and dominate our mouse and K/Bs, although I'm really not hoping for that!
It's amazing how this legendary technique has transcended the classic Counter Strike and has become one of the most simple yet brilliant ways to evade gunfire and improve your competitive gameplay in the process. It's even used for non-competitive games for speedrunning purposes.
