Hello everyone! I am Trao, a user on Nulled. This is my first post to contribute to the community, in trade for what it has provided me, and in return I hope that my post will be useful to you.
During a time that I had no money, a friend provided me a link to play Terraria with him. Now, many of you may know that Linux is not good at all when it comes to gaming. In many cases, games won't run, even with the help of programs such as Lutris or Wine to assist you in running programs, only to hopelessly fall to several errors. Sometimes, some games may work. Other times, especially to those with slow computers or integrated graphics cards, your game will face some problem.
While I may not recommend piracy, and suggest that you buy the game to support the developers. They worked very hard on the game with passion, as it was something that they devoted hours to. If you are, although, only trying out the game, or are very desperate and hope to pay for the game in the future, then you may continue and try it out.
I myself have encountered a graphics card error many times while playing Terraria using Wine, and I also encountered the same error playing Terraria for Linux. This is probably a problem with my integrated GPU, and I am clueless on how to fix this right now. Due to my lack of knowledge on fixing issues with graphics cards, I cannot assist anyone in this issue. If you do, although, encounter any issues, please feel free to message me on Discord or PM me about the issue, and I'll try to assist you as much as I can (though, there's no guarantee that I will be able to fix the problem).
Now, for the actual link.
You must upgrade your account or reply in the thread to view hidden text.
Installation Instructions
.- Extract the file manually (right-click onto the file and click on "extract here")
.- Right click on the .sh file and go to the Permissions tab, then tick the "Allow executing file as program" and remember to make it Read and Writable for you.
.- Open the terminal in the extracted folder (by right-clicking and selecting "open terminal").
.- Type in chmod +x (sh_file_name). I'm not sure if this is needed or not, but it seems to be a requirement for installing the game.
.- Now type in ./(sh_file_name) and it will run the GOG installer.
.- Accept the EULA and install the game to a directory.
.- You've installed Terraria!
Please do not leech, as it does nothing but prove you as someone who does not care for their community. Please contribute to our community as well, as Nulled is nothing without it's users, and it's users are everything if they contribute. Have fun!
