Let's get started. This strategy works in both ranked and normal TFT.
Firstly, understand that most of TFT is rng based. Therefore, you might just get screwed over the entire game or completely demolish the rest of the 7 players.
Stomp Strategy
When you begin the game, pick a character with an item. Usually I go for a ranged character such as Vayne / Varus. At this point you can place down your champion to fight the first wave of the minions.
Once you defeat the enemies, purchase all the 1 cost characters you can. This strategy relies on your level to be as low as possible so then you maximize the probability that you roll 1 cost champions. At this point you should be at level two, where you can place down two characters. If you have extra coins after buying all the 1 cost champions, reroll for 2 coins. Usually people go for the higher cost champions but this is something you should avoid like the plague.
After killing all the initial minions you should have 1-2 tier two champions, typically Nidalee, Mordekaiser, Fiora, Warwick, Vayne, Tristana. When you get to this point start thinking about what comp you want to maximize the benefits. I usually have a demon/wild build which works very well. At this point other players may have invested in a higher level which allows them to place down more characters but you shouldn't worry about it.
When you reach the Krugs (rock bois) sell any high cost champions and try your best to rush any of your current champions to tier 3. You never want to press the level up button. Doing so reduces the probability of rolling the valuable 1 cost champions.
This should get you to mid-match where you should be near the top with minimal damage due to your high leveled characters. If you manage to pick up items along the way, look at the right side of your screen when a fight has ended to see who did the most damage and try and leverage that to your advantage. For ranged characters, improve their raw dmg output along with critical / magic damage with a infinity Edge and Static Shiv respectively.
Based on how many tier 3 characters you have and the strength of your comp/items, this should let you win most games (assuming you have decent luck)
Have fun!
