So this took place back in december 2017, i was still very much new to "hacking", i was spreading a btc related stub with the intention of making some cheeky btc of people i hacked
99% of people i hacked were indians and poor people
but one day, one fucking fateful day, i hacked some russian guy, this just HAD to be one of the first guys i hack...
so i open up the screen view, and i shit myself when i saw that this guy had his blockchain account open with precisely 50.4 BTC (keep in mind 1btc at this time was like £10k). so what i do is wait until he goes idle, he didnt have a webcam so i just had to wing it, pray he wasnt in view of the monitor.
i start taking control of his PC with the intention of sending over his btc, i needed to paste my wallet address in order to take his shit, well i was using nanocore and at the time i had no idea i had to turn on a fucking setting to allow copy/paste, so im thinking its just not a feature, so i try manually typing my wallet address into his send page (being very careful so i got it right) of course within the last few character the guy comes and sees what im doing and turns off his fuckin PC
well fuck me if i had just known about the copy/paste setting i would've made over £500k that day, not to mention a week later that was worth £750k
im still depressed about that to this day...
EDIT: i swear on my mums life this actually happened, i keep thinking of it like winning the lottery but not handing in the ticket
this has actually ruined my life, im an utter failure and i keep dreaming of what my life would've been like if i had just known about that one setting...
EDIT 2: by default the copy/paste setting was DISABLED, well shit i didnt know i had to go out of my way to actually turn it on, i learned later where it was and the actual setting was a lot more ambiguous than "enable copy/paste"
