Stop Using Regular Notepad! Here's How To Auto Open ALL TXT Files With Notepad++ or EmEditor

This is probably already known by most but I am constantly being asked why regular notepad sucks such balls and what my customers can do to in order to not use it anymore.
I figured it was just easier to make a quick guide to link them to instead of explaining it each time.
So today, I am going to show you how to STOP USING REGULAR NOTEPAD FOREVER!

Popular Text Editors That You Can Use:
NotePad++ (Free) : https://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/
EmEditor (Free Trial): https://www.emeditor.com/download/
Step 1: Right click on ANY .txt file and click "Properties"

Step 2: Click "Change" what file it default opens with.

Step 3: Select what program you'd like to use as the default text editor and hit "OK" . In my case, I am using EmEditor.
