After a very long time I have finally gotten bored of games and have decided to not wait for 2016 to learn how to code (first year uni starts next year). I have decided that I want to be ahead of all my peeps when I start uni. So Far I have learnt minor C++ and am now learning java and API for android development. This is going to be an enjoyable ride and a tough challenge that I will love to solve, the more stress and discomfort I get, the better I get at solving problems and thus my logic increases allowing me to exponentially increase the productivity and quality of my apps.
I have started off with some YouTube tutorials and soon after my finals next month I am going to take classes in my holidays because I just cannot be fucked playing games because at this point they're pointless as fuck. I love this already, I already made an app that said "hello world" and when I click a button it redirects me to another sub-menu that has floating words scrolling in and out changing colors like a disco. I'm rather enjoying it.
For all you android devs out there is there anything you would advise me to do and give me some tips?
