Hello guys i just wanted to say you quickly why people are going with smite on toplane and what champs are good for it.
So basically people are picking it for the really good tank jungle item to have a cheap option that will just scale with your items that you buy as tank. Maybe it could go good with the dmg jungle items too but i dont think so.
The second thing is, they will pick it with champs that have a really good escape with not much cooldown. Like shyvana, fizz, gragas. mundo or a good nautilus can work out too i think. Ive also seen it on malphite but its kind of weird to escape with the malph ult everytime so you dont have it for any engage.
