Simple Bread Recipe

LEVEL 1 400 XP
Ingredients
  • 550gr flour (preferably high protein flour)
  • 350ml warm water
  • 20gr granulated sugar
  • 15 gr salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 packet (10gr~) instant yeast
Steps
  • Combine water, sugar, olive oil and yeast in a bowl and wait for the yeast to bloom
  • Add flour and sugar
  • Knead it for at least half an hour
  • Put it in a lightly oiled bowl and let it rise to double it's size (1 hour~ on countertop or overnight in fridge)
  • Slap and deflate the dough and transfer it into a greased & floured bread tin
  • Let it proof until double size again (1 hour~) and score it with a sharp knife
  • Bake at 220(fan) until it's golden brown (30 minutes~)
