A solution for searching for prohibited content in Telegram has been developed by the Russian company Sprut-Inform - it allows you to search for illegal content and prevent attempts to recruit Russians to commit sabotage, Igor Bederov, co-founder of the company and expert of the NTI SafeNet market, told RIA Novosti.
"The Russian company Sprut-Inform has developed a solution for monitoring Telegram, which allows you to search for illegal content and prevent attempts to recruit Russians to commit sabotage," Bederov said.
He explained that the Sprut-Tel system allows you to monitor Telegram to identify keywords on the customer's list, find extremist and destructive content and its authors in the messenger. It forms a list of sources that will be searched. Then the database is filled with text data from channels, public chats and comments and their subsequent analytical processing for the customer's task.
"Sprut-Tel" is also capable of installing Telegram accounts that left certain reactions under a post. The developers plan to add analysis of statements in groups and emojis set by a specific Telegram user. The function of user behavioral analysis for detecting bots is also being tested.
"Private channels and groups with destructive content appear daily. There have also been more frequent cases of minors being recruited through social networks and messengers, including Telegram. In exchange for monetary compensation, they are asked to commit illegal actions, such as setting fire to a transformer substation or a cell tower. Law enforcement agencies need special tools for monitoring social networks and messengers that will allow them to quickly check content and, in the long term, reduce the density of prohibited content on the Internet," Bederov commented.
