Recovering an LoL that I got scammed on. Do I have options?

Hello! I bought an account back in March from a seller on another site, and just recently re-sold it but ended up getting scammed out of money. Now the account is gone and I am left with the username and the summoner name that took me like 10 minutes to find after he changed it. I don't know enough recovery information to contact riot without risking the account suspension.
I've contacted the guy I bought it from to see if he has any additional information but I am not hopeful on that.
I'd just like to know any other options you guys might have or I would be willing to compensate anyone willing to help.
