Question about christmas lasagna prep

Hello people, today I'm going to prep my lasagna for dinner tomorrow. I usually cook it the same day. I use dried lasagna sheets(sue me) Last time i did a same day lasagna prep hours in advance the lasagna dough came out really mushy. I cooked it for maybe 15 min before transport and then baked it another ,20 min if i remember correctly.
My hypothesis is that maybe the sheets got mushy because i had then undercooked before finishing and they started to absorb moisture before finally finishing boiling.
So the question is, how do i store the lasagna and prep it so that the sheets dont become mushy?
