ProtOSINT – Investigate Protonmail Accounts

Hey Folks, in this tutorial we are going to tell you about an tool called “ProtOSINT“. ProtOSINT is a Python script that helps you investigate ProtonMail accounts and ProtonVPN IP addresses. This tool can help you to do investigation on proton service and it comes with 3 sub-modules.

• [1] Test the validity of one protonmail account.
• [2] Try to find if your target have a protonmail account.
• [3] Find if your IP is currently affiliate to ProtonVPN.

Installation

First we will download the entire github project by using the git command. After downloading is done, we will go to the directory of this tool and boot it using the python utility.

git clone https://github.com/pixelbubble/ProtOSINT.git
cd ProtOSINT/
python3 protosint.py123git clone
https://github.com/pixelbubble/ProtOSINT.gitcd ProtOSINT/python3 protosint.py

Check Validation

By selecting the first sub-module of this tool, we can check the protonmail given by us whether it is valid or not.

Download Public Key

If the email is valid, we can download the public key associated with the target email address.

Find Available Protonmail

By giving some information related to the target, we can easily get all the active protonmail accounts.

BOOM !! As you can see in the image below, we have found some valid email addresses, which may be what we wanted.
