Portable Emulator Recommendations?

I keep seeing ads and reels on Instagram with neat little consoles that basically look like fancy slim Gameboys with bigger screens. One even has a wood finish... and I gotta say I kinda REALLY want one now. Looks like the right one would come with a boat load of games (wii, Dreamcast, psx, etc., etc.) and run really nice and the build quality on some of these looks really good. Trouble is, I'm a big outsider here...hard to tell what's good, what's not, what's an outright scam, all that good stuff. As an aside, I have a switch which I love, and I'm aware of how cool a steam deck could be, but I just like the novelty and form factor of something like this to tote around on camping trips and stuff like that. Thought? Thanks in advance!
