Korean cuisine is also becoming increasingly popular in this country. Her most famous figurehead:bibimbap. The composition of delicious rice on which various vegetables and tender meat are placed is just too good! Try this delicious combination of marinated pork, tender spinach, carrots and cucumber with a fine dressing of soy sauce, tahini and ginger.
What we need
- Sesam
- 200g spinach leaves
- clove of garlic
- 1 carrot
- 1 cucumber
- 50ml Sweet-Chili-Sauce
- 2 packs of Pork Strips
- 100ml Soy sauce
- 50g Tahini
- 1 ginger
- 400g Sushirice
... and the typical kitchen utensils such as pots, pans, salt, pepper and oil.
Coocking
Step 1:
Boil rice
Bring 800ml of lightly salted water to a boil in a medium-sized saucepan. Rinse the rice in cold water in a colander until the water runs clear. As soon as the water boils, add the rice and cover over the lowest heat for 10–12 minutes. cook until the water is absorbed and the rice is cooked through. Another 5min. Let it steep without adding heat.
Step 2:
Season the meat
Peel the ginger and grate finely. Mix the tahini, soy sauce, 2 teaspoons of sweet chili sauce and 1–2 tablespoons of vegetable oil with the ginger. Pat the strips dry with a piece of kitchen paper, mix with 1/2 of the seasoning sauce and set aside
Step3:
Prepare Salad
Mix the rest of the sweet chili sauce with 2-3 tablespoons of water. Halve the cucumber crosswise, then cut lengthways into thin slices. Peel the carrot if necessary, grate it roughly with a kitchen grater and mix it with the sweet chili sauce.
Step 4:
Cook the spinach
Peel the garlic and finely dice or grate. Coagulate 1 handful of spinach in a large pan with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the garlic, then mix in the remaining spinach. Season with salt and pepper, remove from the pan and set aside.
Step5:
Roast meat
Put the meat and the seasoning sauce in the same pan with 1 tbsp vegetable oil over medium heat for 5–6 minutes. Fry on all sides until the meat is through.
Step6:
Mix the dressing
Mix the rest of the seasoning sauce with about 4 tablespoons of water to make a dressing and season with salt and pepper. Spread the rice on deep bowls or plates and arrange the meat, carrot salad, spinach and cucumber slices on top. Garnish with the dressing and sesame seeds and serve.
