Phone insurance claim

So i dropped a dumbell on my phone and broke it. But my Home contents insurance also covers accidents outside in another building, as long as it isnt my fault.
What is a nice story to get the damage covered? It doesn't necessarily have to be outside in another building, could also have happened in my home.
