Ingredients:
1 handful of Cilantro.
1 large handful of Parsley.
½ Red Pepper
½ Green Pepper
½ Tablespoon of Black Pepper
½ Onions
1 Garlic Bulb
1 Tomato
2 and a half Tablespoon of Salt. (2 tablespoon for half pork shoulder)
1 cup and a half of Bitter Orange. (1 cup for half pork shoulder)
2 Packets of Sazon Goya (1 packet for half pork shoulder)
1 Whole Pork Shoulder.
Instructions:
1. Grab the garlic bulb and peel the skin of each garlic clove until it’s exposed. Then, cut the edges and rinse them in water.
2. Grab a handful of Cilantro and rinse it in water.
3. Grab a large handful of Parsley and rinse it in water as well.
4. Grab the Red and Green Pepper and rinse them. Once you’ve done that you want to cut it in half from the top to bottom and cut the white part and the seeds inside of it and store the rest. If you don’t cut the white part inside it will make the food taste bitter.
5. Grab an onion and peel the outer layer. After that you’ll clean it and cut it in half and store the other.
6. Grab a tomato and rinse it well. Cut the edges and afterwards you’ll want to cut it in 4 squares.
7. Now that you’ve finished preparing the ingredients, you’ll will want to get the blender out.
8. Put 1 and a half cup of Bitter Orange in the blender and add the rest of the ingredients you just chopped up.
9. Now get the pork shoulder and put it in a large bowel and add water and half a cup of vinegar until the pork is completely soaked. You want to leave it there to clean for 30 minutes.
10. Now wash the pork in water and put it on a cutting table. Grab a knife and make a lot of holes all over the pork. This is for the flavor can get absorbed into the pork.
11. Grab an oven bag and place the pork inside of it and now grab the ingredients you just blended and put it inside of the oven bag with the pork inside. Close the bag and leave it in the fridge for however long you want. The longer it’s soaked the juicier it is.
12. Get an Aluminum Foil Tin and place around 1 and a half cup of water inside of it. Afterwards place the pork shoulder with the skin facing upwards. Get aluminum foil and seal the top of the tin.
13. Heat up the oven to 325 and place the Aluminum Foil Tin inside of the oven. Leave it there for 6 hours.
14. After the 6 hours is up you want to open the Aluminum Foil and remove the pork from the oven bag and leave it inside of the Aluminum Foil Tin.
15. Change the heat of the oven to 400 and leave the Aluminum Foil Tin inside the oven without the Aluminum Foil seal for 2 hours. If by 2 hours the skin of the pork shoulder isn’t harden then leave it there for 30 more minutes.
