overwatch competetive not as fun as it use to be

i would like to climb in comp but it seems impossible. I win one or two then lose one or two. It feels like the game is just a flip of the coin. In the beginning it felt like it was easier to climb. also people being toxic complaining everyone is bad drives me crazy I think i might just play quick play for a week or two.
what do you guys think is comp still fun for you
