About this Project:

This Online Event Booking and Reservation System were modified in PHP and MySQL was the database utilized. This will be a major assistance to the school if a room or any spots inside the school will be held to utilize. The task has two client jobs, for example, understudy and educator. This venture likewise has an infusion in MySQL.

This Event Booking System was developed using PHP, MySQL Database, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap, and AdminLTE. The system can be accessed by 3 types of users which are the System Admin, Student, and Teacher. They can manage all data in the system. The Student and Teachers can submit their request for booking/reservation for an event. The admin user is the only one who can approve and decline the reservation requests. The system has a pleasant user interface and user-friendly functionalities.

How to Run

Requirements

• Download and Install any local web server such as XAMPP/WAMP.
  
• Download the provided source code zip file. (download button is located below)
  

Installation/Setup

1. Open your XAMPP/WAMP's Control Panel and start the Apache
   
   and MySQL
   
   .
   
2. Extract the downloaded source code zip file.
   
3. If you are using XAMPP, copy the extracted source code folder and paste it into the XAMPP's "htdocs" directory. And If you are using WAMP, paste it into the "www" directory.
   
4. Browse the PHPMyAdmin
   
   in a browser. i.e.
   Loading…

   localhost
   
   
   
5. Create a new database naming db_event_management
   
   .
   
6. Import the provided SQL
   
   file. The file is known as db_event_management.sql
   
   located inside the db-script folder.
   
7. Browse the Online Event Booking and Reservation System in a browser. i.e.
   Loading…

   localhost
   
   .
