Online Class and Exam Scheduling System in PHP with Source Code

This system is intended to create and easily manage the class and examination schedule of an institution using PHP and Mysqli. Easily tracking of conflicts on the teacher, students, and room schedule will be detected by the system to avoid redundancy and inconsistency. This will greatly ease the person-in-charge responsibilities in doing schedules at the start of the semester and examination.

This Class and Exam Scheduling System has 2 modules which are the Admin Side and Faculty Side. The Admin side has access to manage and maintain the data that is stored in the system while the Faculty Side has only access to view their schedules and update its system account's credentials

The following are the features of the Online Scheduling System:

How to Run

Requirements

• Download and Install any local web server such as XAMPP/WAMP.
  
• Download the provided source code zip file. (download button is located below)
  

Installation/Setup

1. Open your XAMPP/WAMP's Control Panel and start the "Apache" and "MySQL".
   
2. Extract the downloaded source code file.
   
3. If you are using XAMPP, copy the extracted source code folder and paste it into the XAMPP's "htdocs" directory. And If you are using WAMP, paste it into the "www" directory.
   
4. Browse the PHPMyAdmin in a browser. i.e.

   localhost
5. Create a new database naming "scheduling".
   
6. Import the provided SQL file. The file is known as "scheduling.sql" located inside the "dist/db" folder path.
   
7. Browse the Online Class and Exam Scheduling System in a browser. i.e.

   localhost

Default username and password are as follows:

Admin Username: admin

Admin Password: admin

Faculty Default Username: first_name+depaertment_code [clairecit]

Faculty Default Password: last_name [blake]
