I have been following crypto since ETH was at $6. I bought some too. I made $2000.
Since then, it (and other cryptos in general) has been touted as the next generation of money, and that within a few years, we'll see widespread adoption by normies.
No normies use crypto. Not DASH, not ETH, not BTC, not RIPPLE, nothing. We've seen academic interest, and corporate interest by JP Morgan, but crypto has YET to fall into use by consumers. It's just being researched/developed... for YEARS.
People would rather use Venmo as electronic payment, instead of using some bullshit crypto coin.
I was hoping to see crypto be used to on Stock Exchanges widespread. I remember when CBOE came out with BTC futures, and I watched as no one used them lol. Now they're abandoning them.. (https://www.wsj.com/articles/cboe-abandons-bitcoin-futures-11552914001)
Smart Contracts would be brilliant to manage Derivatives, but that has yet to be seen.
This is so fucking disappointing.
