Need a new game to play

So, im sitting here bored out of my mind. League is fun and all, but i get burnt out pretty fast from it.
I'm a broke ass mother fucker, so what are some good free to play games? I'm looking for a game that is multiplayer and has a sort of competitive component to it.
Favorite types tend to be shooters and mmorpg games. I tried trove, just cant get why people love it, seems so dull and repetitive.
