Hello everyone,
I'm Keefe, and I'd like to share some things that I think can lead to banning. Of course, I have tested some out, and it may or may not be a coincidence, so its up to you to believe. Don't simply downvote me just because it isn't backed by those weird scientific number stuff that I don't understand xD Also, if some things have already been posted, please don't whack me because I've not seen anything regarding this except the sticky post.
First off, I'm not sure why but I think scripting in any feature game mode gets you busted real quick. My first account got banned a day after scripting in URF, and my current account got banned today, where I just scripted in Doom Bots yesterday. I'm not sure why this happens, but my theory is that Ri0t kinda monitors Featured Game modes more than Normal or Ranked Games.
Secondly, reporting a player seems to get you banned as well (tested by me). What I did was that there was once I reported a player in the post-game screen for intentional feeding, when there was the Instant Feedback thing going. After the end of the next game, my league client just went off and poof! when I tried to relogin, it said that my account was permanently suspended. My take on this is that the reports draw attention to your Summoner "reputation" kind of thing to see if you spam report/honors and stuff, and see if you do weird stuff ingame. This would probably lead you to getting busted.
Thirdly, Bugsplats. I'm sure most of us had this moment where we Alt+Tab while using a script and when we Alt+Tab back our League client freezes with a bugsplat. For me, this happens when using the Elobuddy Hecarim7 and KoreanAIO. I believe these bugsplats send data back to Ri0t's server, which would indicate abnormality in gameplay, leading to further investigation, and to Account Suspension.
Fourthly, I found out that there were files containing info about accounts that have been used to log in on your client. They can be found in C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects\lol_air_client\releases\0.0.x.xxx\deploy\preferences
My theory is that if you have info of quite a few permabanned accounts stored, your current accounts may be "blacklisted" or "flagged" and Ri0t would zoom in on these accounts to check for scripting/ client injections (if thats the correct term).
Lastly, this doesn't take Sherlock to find out (not saying the previous three did) that using inhuman movements may get banned.
One example would be an Irelia script, clearing a large wave using Q. Upon activation of the LaneClear (V), Irelia would rapidly dash around to kill the wave in a short amount of time. My good friend did this in a game, and instantly got banned after it (might be due to previous games as well, not confirmed).
Thanks for taking your time to read this post, and I hope you learnt something. I would also appreciate if anyone would like me to add in any more details or start a discussion/debate, and I am open to constructive criticism so as to improve the quality of my post.
If you find this useful, you can leave a like for me
