Its basically soup but like my mom makes it so its so fucking good.
Ingredients:
6x Hunts tomato sauce (basil, garlic & oregano)
(2 bags) Any type of noodle( my favorite is the shells)
salt
Steps:
Prepare the Noodles:
Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
Add a generous amount of salt to the boiling water.
Add the bags of noodles to the boiling water and cook according to the package instructions until they are al dente (cooked but still slightly firm). This usually takes about 7-10 minutes.
Once cooked, drain the noodles and set them aside.
Prepare the Soup:
In a large pot or Dutch oven, pour in all 6 cans of Hunts tomato sauce with basil, garlic & oregano.
Heat the Soup:
Place the pot over medium heat and bring the tomato sauce to a gentle simmer. You don't need to add any extra water or broth, as the tomato sauce will form the base of the soup.
Season the Soup:
Taste the soup and adjust the seasoning. Depending on the saltiness of the tomato sauce, you might want to add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors. Remember, you can always add more salt later if needed.
Add the Noodles:
Once the tomato sauce is simmering and seasoned to your liking, add the cooked and drained noodles to the pot.
Gently stir to combine the noodles with the tomato sauce. The noodles will absorb some of the flavors from the sauce.
I hope you enjoy if you do actually try it LMAOO if you do try it lmk how it tastes.
