- put the boiling water on fire first so you don't waste time
- cut a big onion or 2/3 small ones finely, you don't cut in big pieces and don't use a mixer (it ruins the texture (for me at least))
- grind you garlic (I love garlic so put I around 2/3 pieces but its a matter of taste really) instead of using your knife and add in some salt while still on the cutting board (help squeeze that flavor out more)
- don't forget parsley
