Ok so, this is something I said I would share because I did it back in the day. Looking to make some chump change but put in a SMALL TO LARGE amount of work. Check this out.
GO to google and turn on your location, and search for local shops (mom and pop stores) Restaurants and other places that were made by the average joe (avoid major places like KFC McDonalds ect)
Next look at their reviews and find the ones with the LOWEST reviews and get their name, number, and address.
here is where you start to put in work.
Either CALL or EMAIL these places and offer your services to them. Tell them that you are working with such and such ad quality review blah blah blah (make up a name BUT!!! Sound fancy, sound professional and a facebook page won't hurt)
Inform them that you noticed they have some bad reviews on their page and you are willing to help them improve their online image for a small fee. (THIS IS WHERE YOU REALLY PUT IN WORK! Sell it, make it sound like your name is Donald Trump and you are here to make their company great again) Inform them that with every bad review they could be losing up to (find the most expensive thing on the menu and multiply it by 10, 20, or 30 depending on the price. I like to go 30 for every 10 dollars, and for everything over 10 increase the number by 1. Example 11 =31 12=32.)
Example. Sir/Madam, are you aware that you are losing up to if not over 684 dollars a day because of these bad reviews. For a small fee of (make your price. DO not sell yourself short, but do not go overboard. Know the place you are working with. If the place looks poor, no more than 100, if they look good but have horrible something, go big or go home). Inform them not only can you assist them in improving their reviews by having people coming to sample their food, you can even set them up with a facebook page for an extra charge (Come on its so simple.) Or add them to your own which is free advertisement. (Come on if you got an FB account and you have over 100 friends...MAKE SOME CASH OFF Me!!!!) At this moment you will either get told YES or NO
IF YES? Your next step is to make multiple accounts and make as many good reviews as you can over the time period of every 1-2 hours. (DO NOT GO OVERBOARD! 6 is normally good to make a bad rating OKISH!)
What if they want an FB page? Make one give them the password, make it look all fancy ask for pictures of their food, post them make it look PROFESSIONAL! you can charge them for creating the page, and for an EXTRA monthly fee, you can charge them for MAINTAINING the page. (Trust me this offer won't sell ALOT but it is sometimes worth it.)
How much can you honestly make off this? You make what you put into it. You put in big work you have a potential to make big cash. You put in little work and you can make the little cash.
How do I obtain payment? SOME PLACES you can take cash (and its tax-free if you do just don't tell uncle sam cough cough JK JK JK...Seriously pay your taxes) And In most situations, I used Paypal, or had them pay me via other forms. (amazon gift card, Walmart cards, hell event all I could event lunch for a year from a Mexican restaurant)
Is this legal? Yes
Is this Honest? Not all the times, but sometimes...Keep in mind most bad reviews are there for a reason and a small few come from pissy wanna be yelpers.
Does this Actually work? It worked for me but do not make the same mistake I did. Do not put in more work than you charge for. if you are doing 200 dollars worth of work don't charge 100.
Seriously how much can you make? Ok, lets see. Say u have 10 places. And out of 10 only 3 accept what you are selling. Say u sell them the whole packet and u charge like 200 dollars. Congrats u made 600 dollars in less than 10. That's more than most people make in a 40 hour shift flipping burgers. Always try to sell the BIGGER PACKAGES. this will be your Monthly money.
Final words of encouragement. Leave your symbol. If you truly put work in and wanna do this. LEAVE YOUR SYMBOL. because ppl will see it, they will know you and they will come to you. Word of mouth is the BEST!
