Looking for a game where I can just go absolute ham on the enemies

So I'm playing Dishonored and I never have enough ammo to go around, and facing enemies with bullets is a hassle. I want a game where I can swing a sword, and cut down my opposition. I'm thinking along the lines of Dark Souls because it is a prime example of my tastes, but I want something that I can use to just listen to movies or TV and play without putting too much strategy into it. Something like Dust an Elysian Tale but more 3D like Dark Souls. I know I have weird tastes, but my brain wants to feel like an all-powerful force of nature that can stand up to anything.
