Ingredients:
1 kg lamb, cut into chunks
4 tablespoons olive oil
4 onions, roughly chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 can (400g) crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup red wine
2-3 bay leaves
1 cinnamon stick
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Brown the lamb chunks.
Add chopped onions and minced garlic. Sauté until onions are soft.
Pour in crushed tomatoes and red wine. Stir well.
Add bay leaves, cinnamon stick, salt, and pepper.
Bring it to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and let it simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours until the lamb is tender.
