Just sour cream, egg noodles, and bacon

I grew up with this dish that my grandpa used to make for my dad. He always called it "torshtusha". No one in my family has ever seen it spelled out, but that's what it sounds like. My grandpa was just some dude from california who never ever talked about his past, so we don't have any clue what culture he's from, or even if this dish is from that culture.
