In this tutorial we will create a Simple Movable Object using JavaScript. This code can move the object to an another HTML element when drop. It will get the object id, then append it to the parent as a new child element. You can apply this script to your system, it is a user-friendly program feel free to modify it.

We will use JavaScript to add some new interactive element that is written in the HTML. It extends your website experience and add an additional feature that help you engage with the user.

Getting Started:

This is the link for the bootstrap that i used for the layout design https://getbootstrap.com/.

The Main Interface

This code contains the interface of the application. To create this just write these block of code inside the text editor and save this as index.html.

Creating the Script

This code contains the script of the application. This code can move the object from div to div. To do this just copy and write these block of codes as shown below inside the text editor and save it as script.js inside the js directory

    drop(

    e)

    {
  5. e.preventDefault

    (

    )

    ;
  6. var

    data =

    e.dataTransfer

    .getData

    (

    "data"

    )

    ;
  7. e.target

    .appendChild

    (

    document.getElementById

    (

    data)

    )

    ;
  8. document.getElementById

    (

    data)

    .style

    =

    "width:100%;"

    ;
  9. }

  10. function

    drag(

    e)

    {
  11. e.dataTransfer
