Is gold a good investment?

Okay so hello nulled! Many of you here seem knowledgable in lots of aspects related to money and investments. I'd like to know what all of you think about gold jewelry. Is gold a good investment at this point in time with all the money the government is printing. Do you guys think the stimulus checks and government help will end up affecting the economy and the worth of money? Like are gold chains, rings, coins, jewelry, etc. good investments right now or should I pass?
