He is accused of tax fraud and physical violence. Finland initiated a request for his arrest, pointing to a violation of the law between 2020 and 2024.
The assault charges relate to an incident in which Hurt allegedly used force against a 16-year-old girl, which included physical assault and ill-treatment. The decision to detain him was issued by the Finnish authorities back in September 2024.
In addition, the Finnish police said that Hert's tax reporting differs significantly from the data collected by the authorities. At the same time, the entrepreneur himself has not yet commented on the situation directly, although he remains active on social networks.
In one of his recent posts, Hurt hinted at what was happening. According to him, people who are unable to repeat the success of his companies are trying to "put spokes in the wheels" of the business he created.
Quote:"Nothing angers haters like success. Every time they remember you, they remember that they are not doing even half of what they could," the entrepreneur wrote.
Richard Hurt is also at the center of a major lawsuit by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Interpol and the Finnish authorities are actively searching for the founder of Hex. At the time of publication, there were no comments from Richard Hurt and his representatives.
