With today being the start of the Masters, a thought came to mind: Competitive Fortnite should mimic the PGA Tour (Pro Golf) Tournament/Season Model. This is more of an idea/suggestion based around the business model behind competitive Fortnite. Hoping this gets to the eyes of higher-ups at Epic games.
While I enjoy the current FNCS format, I can’t help but think it could be simplified if they just take a look at what the PGA tour does: host a tournament every weekend, and allow the head sponsor to provide the prize pool. Create a points system for the entire season and a few “Majors” throughout the year. Seems overly simple... why haven’t they gone this route? I’d imagine there are loads of companies chomping at the bit to fork over money for this. Could even have the first day of the tourney be a Pro/Am where big content creators or celebs play, just like the PGA tour does. I see so many similarities of how this could work for Fortnite, mainly because they are both tournament based games.http://essaywriter.fun/
Just an idea for the future! Let’s hear some feedback/suggestions below.
