I am trying to get in my neighbors Wi-Fi

So I got really bored and thought I would do a MITM attack on one of my neighbors but I didn't know their Wi-Fi password. I have cracked Wi-Fi passwords before using Aircrack-ng but I have been using a tool called Wifite (dual boot Kali) which is a lot easier and performs WPS pin attacks similar to reaver. but the problem is that my neighbors signal is shit. so I watched this video of these Russian guys get their WiFi boosted and I fucked up trying to do what they did . At one point in time I had 5 of my neighbors WiFi passwords but i wrote them down somewhere and forgot about them. I'm thinking of getting a external WiFi card or something to do this now because I exposed the antennas out of my laptop and it just made the signal more shit.
