Hello everyone,
I am a highschooler and it has been too many years that I have lived in Japan without not knowing how to speak japanese. I know it is crucial for me to learn how to speak if I want to get a part-time job which is something I really need right now. I am an introvert and socially awkward and that really adds on because I can't try to speak to people in japanese without coming out as creepy or weird. I tried watching anime as a way to learn japanese for a while now but it would never work out since I never come to find them enjoyable, and I'm not into being an anime fan (not judging people who are). The fact that I am often alone in school anyways and not having too many people I can speak to isn't helping as well.
Down to the core I noticed that I am lacking motivation, and that goes to anything. It is a problem that has ruined my life in many ways and I've tried many methods to try to have more of it but it would never last long enough to have an effect on me.
I am looking for suggestions that will help me stay motivated for long periods of time and do achieve something productive for once.
