This is a method I have done in 2018 to make me $50-100/day
It is partially autopilot but does need daily check ups, monitoring, and changing of niches.
This still works in 2021, but Instagram has a bit more security now.
This method is about Instagram automation using:
The tool itself costs 97$ (for unlimited IGs. you want this one). But there are cracks online (be careful for viruses, and old versions that dont work.
You also need good proxies. You can use:

Valar solutions offers cheap residential IPv6 proxies which work with IG as IG has IPv6 support.
You will also need aged, warmed up, or fresh IG accounts. Best are aged accounts, and even warmed up ones (recent posts, to warm up)

Now comes the creative part! You can do whatever you want!
You will follow people who follow famous people i.e. justin bieber, drake or whatever.
And when they check your account as you have a trendy name such as "getfreefollowers" or "free iphone" etc.
You can either.
1. Content lock them (make them do survey)
2. Phish them
3. Make them buy something (using clickbank)
4. Sell your products.
It takes creativity. But once you find a nice niche, easy 50$-100$/day.
