In this article, we’ll show you a simple way to use your iPad to connect to a desktop computer with Google Remote Desktop.

- A Google account.
- The Chrome browser installed on your computer.
- Navigate to the https://chrome.google.com/webstore and enter “Chrome Remote Desktop” into the search bar. Refer to the attached screenshot for the correct application.
- Proceed by clicking on the “Add to Chrome” button.
- Open your App Store and type “Chrome Remote Desktop” in the search box.
- Look for the app that matches the picture shown below, then click on “Get” to start downloading it.
- Start by opening the Chrome browser on your desktop and sign in to your Google account.
- Navigate to this website: https://remotedesktop.google.com/access
- Click on the “Download” button and follow the instructions that appear on your screen to install Chrome Remote Desktop.
- After the installation is complete, click on “Turn on” to enable remote access to your computer.
- Give your computer a name and then click “Next”.
- Lastly, create a PIN and click on “Start”.
- Next, go to the device you want to use to access your PC, for example, an iPad.
- Open the “Chrome Remote Desktop” app. You should see a remote device listed. If you don’t, try refreshing the page.
- Tap on the name of the PC you want to connect to, then enter the pin.
