This is just a simple method for checking your ping on League of Legends without entering a custom / ranked etc. game.
This works with both Mac and PC and requires no downloads.
Working for Mac and PC
Open up the respective programs, Terminal for Mac / Command Prompt for PC
Copy the following and paste it accordingly for the server you want to check your ping on
that "x" is your estimated ping. For me i find its 3 - 4 ms greater than what it says.

- NA = ping 216.52.241.254
- OCE = ping 216.52.241.254
- EUW = ping 31.186.224.112
ping 95.172.65.154 - EUNE = ping 95.172.70.0
