How Legit are Shadow Brokers

Recently a group calling themselves as shadowbrokers have managed to gain access to some very high end exploit tools. They did leak few teasers out of treasure trove and cisco did confirm a zero day in his firewall solutions which could have been exploited by the tools tht they released. Now they are demanding 1 million bitcoins to release the tools to public or are willing to give them to highest bidder. I just analysed their bitcoin address and so far the highest bid that they have managed to get is less than 1k.
