Counter-Strike is almost or just as old as Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament. Each CS game played like 1.6. So how come it's more popular in the mainstream than Q3 and UT? How and why is Counter-Strike more popular than arena shooters? You could tell me a reason is mod support, but arena shooters have mod support too https://showbox.bio https://tutuapp.uno/ .
