How can I improve my graphic design skills as a beginner?

I see the youtube videos, learn Photoshop, Wordpress, Parametric and algorithmic design, Figma and read tips for beginners https://photutorial.com/graphic-design-for-beginners/
But hink about course (Udemy..)
is it worth it? Interested to hear your suggestions on where to start..
I'm not sure that I can do it on my own, I want more practice and understanding ..
