Get around using VPN to sub on Twitch?

Twitch TV rolled out localized pricing for subscribing to streamers . I want to subscribe to some people I dont watch for their emotes but dont want to pay full price .I tried using a VPN to subscribe but their payment service seems to notice and block the payment from confirming. I tried changing when I used the vpn during checkout ,different countrys, different cards and payment type, and also making billing same as the country i was VPN to. Nothing worked.
has anyone successfully used a VPN to sub on Twitch or know of a way to do it?
